Who is responsible
[Full name], [street], [postcode city], [country]. E-mail: [address].
What is stored and why
When you send the form, your Etsy order number and your choices for the map (centre, title, language, units, cities and special places) are stored so that I can design and print your map (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, performance of a contract). Your IP address is used only for the security check and to block abuse and is not stored with your design. Your data is used only for your Etsy order: no newsletter, no advertising, no sharing with anyone except the print partner, who receives only the finished print file.
Services used
- GitHub Pages (GitHub, Inc., USA) hosts this page and the website elsewhere-maps.com and receives the usual connection data when you open them. Neither site uses cookies, tracking or analytics.
- Scaleway (Scaleway SAS, France, data centre in Paris) receives the form, checks it and passes it on. The security check against automated abuse (ALTCHA) runs in your browser and on this server, without cookies and without any third party.
- GitHub stores your design as an entry in a private repository that only I can access.
- OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, UK) delivers the map tiles and the place search. Your browser connects to its servers when you use the maps.
These providers may process data outside the EU. [Add the legal basis for third-country transfers, e.g. EU–US Data Privacy Framework.]
How long
Your design is deleted [e.g. 12 months] after your order has been delivered, unless the law requires me to keep it longer.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your data and object to its processing. You can also complain to a data protection authority.
